- The Town Line Trail Dusters are the local snowmobile club. They maintain the snowmobile trail that encircles much of the Village Town Forest with occasional help from our commissioners.
- New Hampshire Fish & Game has a ton of information on all things wildlife related in New Hampshire. NHF&G also manages the Hirst Marsh, which abuts the Weir Road Town Forest.
- The Friends of the Northern Rail Trail manage the rail trail that runs from Boscawen to Lebanon.
- The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests owns the Morrill Easement as well as several other properties in Boscawen. Easements are monitored by staff while fee properties, those owned outright by the Forest Society, are stewarded by volunteers. - New Hampshire State Parks runs the two parks at the summit of Mt Kearsarge. If you enjoy the view of the mountain from Water Street you may also enjoy seeing Water Street from the mountain.
- The Contoocook & North Branch Rivers Local Advisory Committee meets monthly to discuss topics of importance to those communitees that lie along the Contoocook River. The confluence of the Contoocook and Merrimack Rivers is in Boscawen.
- The Upper Merrimack River Local Advisory Committee is similar to the CNBRLAC, but focuses its attention on the Upper Merrimack River.
